Special

Morning, my heart, I know it's early but I couldn't wait
I planned us a day of things to do
You might be confused, I understand, I'll give you a clue
It's not for us, it's all for you

There's no anniversary, no birthday, nothing, love
Just you and me
It's not Mother's Day or Father's Day or Valentine
There's no reason to explain it away
I'm just celebrating all of the ways
You mean to me
I do this all because you're

Special (Forever you are)
Special, special, yeah, yeah, yeah (Forever you are)
Special

Don't be so shy
I wanna remind you you're more than a need
By evening, I'll try and tell you how
But I need more than a day to explain how I feel
All year, maybe
Or forever

There's no anniversary, no birthdays, nothing, love
Just you and me
It's not Mother's Day or Father's Day or Valentines
There's no reason to explain it away
I'm just celebrating all of the ways
You mean to me
I do this all because you're

Special (Forever you are)
Special, special, my baby (Forever you are)
Special
You're special (Forever you are)
Special, special, mm, yeah-yeah (Forever you are)
Special
