Raining Whiskey

Them Lynchburg clouds are hangin' low in this neon sky
Looks like it's gonna be a hell of a storm tonight
I'm hunkered down and sippin' too much of somethin' strong
Someone should probably tell the weatherman he got it wrong

Ooh, could've used a warning, baby
Ooh, since you been gone

It's raining whiskey in this bar
Two in the mornin' and it's pourin' on a broken heart
Yeah, I can hear the thunder roll when I throw 'em back
Yeah, you know, as long as you ain't with me
There's a hundred-proof chance it's raining whiskey in this bar
Yeah, it's raining whiskey in this bar

This lightnin' in a bottle ain't 'bout to change anything
So let it rain down until it drowns out your memory
I'm talkin' one shot, two shot, three shot, four
Tell the bartender we gon' need some more
Like, Lynchburg, Lynchburg one more time
If it rains, it pours tonight

And it's raining whiskey in this bar
Two in the mornin' and it's pourin' on a broken heart
Yeah, I can hear the thunder roll when I throw 'em back
Yeah, you know, as long as you ain't with me
There's a hundred-proof chance it's raining whiskey in this bar
Yeah, it's raining whiskey in this bar

It's comin' down, it's comin' down
Bottle after bottle, round after round
It's comin' down, it's comin' down
Bottle after bottle 'til they all run out

It's raining whiskey in this bar
Two in the mornin' and it's pourin' on a broken heart
Yeah, I can hear the thunder roll when I throw 'em back
Yeah, you know, as long as you ain't with me
There's a hundred-proof chance it's raining whiskey in this bar
Yeah, it's raining whiskey in this bar

It's raining whiskey in this bar
Yeah, it's raining whiskey in this bar
