Lyrics
I see you walking through your life
With your head high up in the clouds
You've got your eyes fixed on your prize
Would you decide that you can live without?
You're always busy chasing some dream
And you're so damn hard on yourself
You set your goals far from your reach
Feel like I feel you deep inside your head
And you may feel like you're losing
Losing your shine
Don't think the grass is always greener
On the other side
You say you're scared of the real thing
That you don't really like yourself
But you must realize it
In your growth, it's a slow process
And you may feel like you're losing
You're losing your shine
But one day you look into the mirror
You see a butterfly
Instead of chasing butterflies that fly away
You gotta believe that things get better
There isn't a storm you cannot weather
It's time to chase away the clouds that cause the rain
Look up and see the silver lining
It's really no use to keep on trying
Instead of chasing butterflies that fly away
Didn't I tell you things get better?
There isn't a storm you cannot weather
You need to savor every moment live today
Every cloud has silver linings
And as the sun begins to shine then you will fly
You will fly
Oh, the butterflies
Oh, the butterflies
Instead of chasing butterflies that fly away
Didn't I tell you things get better?
There isn't a storm you cannot weather
You need to savor every moment live today
Every cloud has silver linings
See as the sun begins to shine then you will fly
You will fly
You move the butterflies
You move the butterflies
With your head high up in the clouds
You've got your eyes fixed on your prize
Would you decide that you can live without?
You're always busy chasing some dream
And you're so damn hard on yourself
You set your goals far from your reach
Feel like I feel you deep inside your head
And you may feel like you're losing
Losing your shine
Don't think the grass is always greener
On the other side
You say you're scared of the real thing
That you don't really like yourself
But you must realize it
In your growth, it's a slow process
And you may feel like you're losing
You're losing your shine
But one day you look into the mirror
